My wife and I have two mud-lined crawl spaces in our 112 year old farm house basement. After the house has been closed up for a long weekend when we arrive home and open the door, we get hit with an dor of dead mice and limburger cheese. Awful!

My father-in-law blames this odor on our dog. So after listening to Lou Mafredini on his Saturday radio show, I purchased some Fresh Wave at my local Ace Hardware store. He was right! Listening to Lou Manferdini on WGN radio on Sat. mornings is a must. I first found Fresh Wave in 2006 after installing a 100% wool carpet that smelled a little too much like the sheep who'd contributed to it. One jar of Crystal Gel was all it needed! I've read all the stories on your site. Each one seems to have a specific incident that prompted them to use Fresh Wave. Mine starts with just wanting to keep our RV smelling fresher and then I went on to using the Crystals throughout our home. I cannot tell you how much I love this product. So far I have tried the Pearl Packs, Crystal Gel and Spray. I just placed another order for Carpet Shake, Fresh Wash (hoping to get that obnoxious "wet dog smell" out of our furry friend's blankets/beds), Soy Candles, more Crystal Gel and more Pearl Packs (to use in our bagless vacuum). This stuff is not a "hoax"; it really works!!! Oh, and I have stopped buying air freshners for my car (replaced them the Pearl Packs) and there is not one aerosol air freshener can in our home........we don't need it. Evidently my roommate concocted a brown rice, broccoli, and Brussels sprouts medley at 3:30 a.m. After the rice was steamed to perfection then dumped into the veggies, I assume he figured it was ok to take a little break from cooking. He laid down in bed “for a minute”, where I found him at 4:45 a.m. fully clothed, lights on, and the smoke alarms doin’ WORK from the scorching stir-fry. My house smelled like a dump-truck full of rotten vegetables that careened off the road and crashed into a tire fire…in August. I'm not one to write reviews but I have to this time. I have a big field behind my house and in the summer the field mice find their way into my garage. This year due to the heat it's been bad with the mice. Wouldn't you know it a mouse had died in the wall in the closet where my wife keeps the towels and sheets. This is were Fresh Wave comes in. I checked the internet on how to get rid of the smell it said I would need a air-neutralizer so off to the store I went. Needless to say I went to a Bed Bath and Beyond and saw a Fresh Wave display and I thought I would give it a try. I placed one 16oz Odor Eliminating Crystals jar in the closet and placed a Pearl Pack the hole in the wall where It may have entered in from the garage. A couple of days later I opened the closet door and to my surprise I couldn't smell the dead rodent that was in my wall. It by far exceeded my wife and I expectations, we even placed one by the dogs bed and with in 24 hours the dog smell was gone also. I have suggested this product to numerous people since then, thanks for such a great product, keep up the good work.

I got my first samples of Fresh Wave from a sample demo by my daughter. My Mom was recently sent to a rehabilitation facility following a small stroke. The lady in the room with her was incontinent and the room had a terrible odor. Recently, a fuse blew in our basement where we have our secondary freezer. One day, I noticed that there was something leaking from the freezer, however, it did not smell bad at all in this part of the basement. I opened the freezer and to my horror discovered hundreds of pounds of defrosted and rotting meat, including an entire pig that had recently been purchased. I'm telling you - that spray is INCREDIBLE.  No weird after-scent, totally kills the horrid scents behind it (my son in the bathroom, my best friend's 3 cat box litter-room that had my eyes watering, my neighbor's husband's shoes that I swore were going to be too much for the spray) just to name a few. I was actually floored by that last, that man's feet should have a toxic waste sticker on them!
 
We like the gel containers as well but the instant gratification you get with the spray just makes it tops! The gel is awesome though as a long time effective agent. Unbelievable products and I actually took the items that were mine and left over from the party to work for my co-workers to try at home, I am THAT impressed! I really dislike odor 'cover-ups' with another odor per se and these just give you such a clean scent. Another plus - my daughter with allergies who can have none of the 'regular' odor eliminators near without sneezing up a storm - actually has the gel in her room with NO SNEEZING. How do you guys do this??  Amazing!

I am writing to tell you how wonderful the Fresh Wave Spray is! I attended the Palko Table Top show in Indiana this past April and received a sample of your product. Since then, I have been using it around my home to successfully combat kitty odors, but recently discovered a new use for it.

My city uses rolling garbage cans for garbage pick up, but when the cans were full, my charming downstairs neighbors decided to fill up a can with garbage and never bothered putting a lid on it. We have gotten non-stop rain since April, and because the city won't pick this type of can up, it has been sitting in the backyard for about a month. The stench was more than I could take, so I decided to try to put the contents of the can into the city-issued one, and naturally, it resulted in me being covered in putrid garbage juice.

Showering and scrubbing both my skin and clothing repeatedly did nothing to alleviate the nauseating smell, and I desperately decided to spray myself and my clothing down with the Fresh Wave spray, and voila! The smell was gone!

Thank you so, so much for this product! It's fantastic!

My sister sells Avon, and I picked up an order from her for one of my co-workers. I sprayed the bag and the odor was gone! My darling husband had left a $220.00 in his pants which went through the washer. Deciding to dry it, he placed three piles in our microwave, and set it for 3 minutes on high and walked away. We had two floods in our lower level - 2 years in a row after the 100 year rains! I was able to save and dry out many of the books that were water soaked but there was that musty odor still lingering in the books. My "Big Girl Lily" (a blonde 60 pound mix with one brown and one blue eye) was defending our back yard from a skunk on April 11th when she got sprayed right between the eyes. Then Lily's companion, Loki, a male Basenji was helping Lily and he got sprayed. It was the most pungent skunk odor I had ever smelled. The two of them of course, ran right inside our house and started rubbing on everything they could, and then the house smelled. My friend Karen (whose mom used be their mommy until she passed away) recommended I try Fresh Wave to eliminate the odors. I looked on Fresh Wave's website, located some stores nearby and found the product at Bed, Bath & Beyond. I got the liquid a week after the spraying incident, diluted a small amount in water and proceeded to wash my two doggies faces. Mind you, it had already been a week since the skunk got my dogs, and they still smelled bad, so I was hoping that Fresh Wave would help. The liquid immediately squelched the stink and now my dogs smell great again. I am also using the Fresh Wave on my tile floors and in the laundry when I wash the doggie blankies. My house is smelling great again, even with the five dogs I have (2 Chihuahuas, 2 Basenjis, and Big Girl Lily with large ears like the Flying Nun). All of my dogs are rescues, and just the best companions, Lily making sure we are always guarded and safe, she did her job with the skunk. I finally had to spray the skunk with water to get him to leave. Now we are ready for anything.

We have a place in Wisconsin on the Rock River. Last summer we had a fence put up. We were not able to be there during the installation. Our neighbor was up there to look after things. The installers asked him to shut off the breaker going to the outdoor lights along where the fence was to be installed. By mistake he shut off the breaker for our two refrigerators. One in the garage the other in the house. As soon as we pulled in the garage we knew something was wrong the smell was AWFUL. We opened the door to the house and the smell was worse. We had planned our son's 3 year birthday party and expected about 30 people. The party was scheduled for a Saturday. Late on Thursday night (could have been very early Friday morning) we were moving things around and just before we started getting ready for bed, I let my dog outside. About three minutes later I smelled it. He got sprayed by a skunk. Never having had this experience before I grabbed him, ran him down to the basement shower and started to clean him up. Best deodorizing products EVER!

We bought the Crystal Gel when we had an issue in the bathroom of our motorcoach.  After trying many other products, this was the only one that worked.

I used the Carpet Shake on an old dog stain on my good wool carpet. My intention was to remove any lingering orders. I was amazed when, after vacuuming, the faint discoloration caused by the stain was gone as well. He didn't get on any of the furniture or carpet in the house - we carried him in and straight to the tub for a cleaning, but the house smelled horrible! I went to the store tonight & purchase 2 of the 16 oz crystal jars - 1 for upstairs & 1 for downstairs. I can't believe how much better it smelled in about an hour! I will definately recommend this product to others!

Hi, my name is Carol and I would like to share my Fresh Wave experence. Friday my son and I went to the gas station to pick up gas for the lawn mower. We put it in the back of my SUV and left. When I made a turn it turned over and the cap was not on tight and gas spilled all over the back of my SUV. I tried wiping it up but the smell was awful so I took it to a detail shop so they could shampoo the carpet and deodorize it. They were unable to get the odor out. I went home and tried several times to clean it with various cleaning supplies and still no results. Finally a friend told me she had something that would take the odor out and brought it over a few days later. We poured carpet and upholstery liquid on the carpet and then set a container of the gel in the back and I promise you the next morning the smell was gone.

A year ago we relocated from Crown Point, IN to Madison, IN. The home that we purchased is on a crawl space and the water table is quite high. I went downstairs to change my laundry at 7am this morning to find a nasty fish smell in my basement. When I opened the dryer the smell was a million times worse! I had to pinch my nose shut not to gag! I remembered that when I opened the washing machine the night before, I found 2 empty gel tabs that had contained Fish Oil... the kind you take for your health. I give this to my son every morning before school. Apparently, he'd forgotten to take them at breakfast, shoved them in his pocket, and never took them out.  I ran the washer with the fish oil in his pocket.

It never dawned on me that the entire load would stink like fish...and that my dryer would be ruined.  I went to the hardware store down the street to look for something to help. The gentleman recommended the Fresh Wave products, but he truly didn't know which product to recommend since he'd never heard a story quite like mine. I called the 800 number on the brochure, and was forwarded to the president of the company. This was rare! Never do you get to speak with any president of any company.  The guy was friendly, helpful and very sympathetic. Mr. Coffey recommended the liquid All Purpose Additive for the dryer. I thought that if I soaked a rag in the solution, then ran the dryer, maybe that would help. He agreed. He also recommended the Odor Neutralizing Crystals to get the smell out of my basement. It is now 6 hours later. My basement smells great, and I don't have to spend $500 on a new dryer! I did have to soak the rag in the solution 3 times, and run the dryer 3 times, but that is certainly cheaper than a new dryer. As for the clothing that smelled, I ran another load, adding a bunch of the All Purpose Additive, and the clothes are FISH ODOR FREE! I will tell everyone about this product, it's truly incredible!

When I first purchased your product, I was a little disappointed, because I didn't smell anything when I got home that night (after setting out the jar that morning). I had thought that coming in from outside would be a good test of how well it worked. Then I realized I was looking at Fresh Wave the wrong way. I heard about Fresh Wave on the radio and it sounded so good I decided to try it. I bought the gel, spray and pearl packs. The gel was for the basement where we have a toy room and guinea pigs. It has definitely helped! I have gone crazy with the pearl packs - they are in almost every room of the house! The best spots I have found are in the shoe basket (filled with tennis shoes and cleats)in the mud room and in the car (I stuck one under the front seat and now my van doesn't smell like a locker room - even though it often serves as one when I am driving my two boys to and from sports practices). I love animals. After rescuing 2 dogs, 2 cats, and a ferret, my parents began worrying about our house smelling like and animal shelter. For years, I have had my cat boxes downstairs in the office. While I did the best I could to keep it clean and smelling fresh, there was always an odor associated with the boxes that permeated the room and trickled into the hall near the front door.
